Trusted Procurement Sources

Our laptops, desktops and servers are often sourced from businesses, schools and other sectors who have upgraded their IT systems. We purchase this old stock directly from them. We purchase from manufacturers such as Dell, Lenovo, HP who lease their hardware to companies and organisations across the UK. When this lease comes to an end, the hardware is returned to the manufacturer where they are tested and wiped of any data. (referred to as “Manufacturer Refurbished”).

The Journey of Our Goods

Goods In

Once the goods arrive at our facility, they are carefully unloaded and stored in our secure warehouse. At this point they join our processing queue.

Cleaning

At this point, the systems are stripped down to bare bones and carefully cleaned with anti-static cleaners and re-assembled.

Grading

Only when all dust and dirt is removed from inside and outside of the system can it be cosmetically graded. We use the standard A, B, C grading system to reflect it’s physical condition. More details can be found below.

Testing

We want to ensure the hardware is firstly working as it should, and that it keeps working for you. We use special software to diagnose and stress test the hardware. Any faults or errors should arise at this point in the process and can be quickly rectified.

Inventory

Once we have a graded, stable system the unit is ready to be catalogued and inputted into inventory. Any internal components are stored in an anti-static environment to preserve functionality. Each individual part or full system is assigned a unique SKU number.

Ready to Sell

Once all the above processes are complete, we are happy that the item is ready to sell and be inputted onto the website.
